The celebration started with a prayer to memorialize the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, followed by the chanting of the soothing holy ‘Shabads’ by our tiny tots during class, making the whole ambience serene and pious.Ī special video was shown to the students about the principles and teachings of the pious soul, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which reiterated the message of ‘One God’ and the ‘Eternal Truth’. Public School celebrated Gurpurab on the virtual platform with great fervour and gaiety. The festival is celebrated with great religious dedication and devotion across India, mainly in the states of Punjab, Haryana and abroad. It is the most sacred festival of the Sikh community.
